IPE Global has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Department (SEEID) of the Government of Maharashtra to strengthen women’s participation in the workforce through data-driven gender planning.
The agreement positions IPE Global as a Technical Support Unit aimed at enhancing policies and programs that support women’s employment and skill development across the state.
The MoU was formalized on April 27, 2026, at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai. The signing took place in the presence of Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister for Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
The agreement was exchanged between Ms. Manisha Verma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary of SEEID, and Mr. MK Padma Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of IPE Global.
This collaboration underscores Maharashtra’s commitment to inclusive growth and aligns with the vision of Viksit Maharashtra 2047, which aims to create a more equitable and opportunity-driven economy.
As part of its role, IPE Global will focus on strengthening the skilling and employment ecosystem, ensuring that young women are placed at the center of the state’s labour market transformation. The initiative is expected to significantly improve female labour force participation in formal employment.
Officials highlighted that the partnership will leverage data-driven insights and strategic planning to address gender gaps and create sustainable employment opportunities for women across Maharashtra.
