boAt Lifestyle Successfully Upgrades SAP S/4 HANA Rise System to 2023 Version Ahead of Schedule

Leading Indian audio and wearables brand boAt Lifestyle has successfully upgraded its SAP S/4 HANA Rise system from the 2020 version to the 2023 version in what the company described as a record-time execution.

Sharing the achievement, boAt Lifestyle CIO Shashwat Singh said the upgrade was completed without any disruption, critical incidents, or business downtime. He added that the transition to the new version was smooth and seamless, while the company also completed its first month-end close successfully after the migration.

One of the major highlights of the project was that the upgraded system was released back to business operations 24 hours ahead of schedule.

Shashwat Singh congratulated and recognized key team members OP Madhu and Harsh Girish for their leadership and exceptional work during the project. According to him, the team’s coordination and technical expertise played a crucial role in ensuring a hassle-free migration.

He also thanked the SAP team for their continuous support throughout the process. Special appreciation was given to Gaurav Rajiv and Guillermina for helping provide the right resources and technical assistance required to complete the project successfully.

External partners Intellect Bizware Services Pvt. Ltd. and GyanSys Inc. were also acknowledged for playing a critical role in the implementation and support of the upgrade.
